Rocking The Daisies - Festival Marketing


INTRODUCTION
This project required a creation of a marketing plan for one of South Africas music festivals. I chose Rocking The Daisies. Rocking The Daisies  started in 2005 by Craig Bright and Brian Little  with the hope to bring and intertwine American and European festival culture into South Africa. Since 2005, Rocking the Daisies has become a highlight on the festival calendar through its ability to create a multi-sensory unique experience that unifies festival goers through music. Rocking The Daisies is an eco-friendly music and lifestyle festival that takes place in Cape Town over three days and in Johannesburg for one day that offers musical entertainment, lifestyle exhibitions and multiple food options.
STYLE
The style of the various content created for this marketing strategy takes inspiration from the Surrealism and Grunge 90's design trends. This was done through combining photography with illustration elements within the designs. Since this is Rocking The Daisies first year back since the pandemic, this marketing strategy aims to create a fun and exciting visual experience for the target market which leads to the theme of this strategy: RENAISSANCE REVIVAL
